What better way to spend a week, than with 30,000 like-minded people looking to learn and share with each-other. If you haven’t had the experience before, then I strongly suggest you go. If you have gone in the past, then you have some idea what your in for.
You can easily pack your day with labs, sessions, keynotes and crawling the exhibition floor (which looks more like a fairgrounds than a convention). However, one thing that has immeasurably more value, is the opportunity for networking with your peers. Go to the hang-spaces, community lounges, dinners, lunches, etc. I guarantee you that you will meet interesting people there that expand your view of the IT world.
You also get the chance to see RUN-DMC and Snoop Dogg thanks to Cohesity and Rubrik.
One problem with VMworld, is that it really is expensive if you are not sponsored by a company, or get a partner pass, or a blogger pass. So today, I’m offering to change that for someone and make the journey a few thousand dollars cheaper.
As a campaign for the official launch of my book Designing Risk in IT Infrastructure, I will be giving away a full conference pass to VMWorld 2018 in Vegas. All you have to do is purchase the book and fill out the form below. This is good for both the softcover and the eBook version.
Winner will be contacted by email on August 22nd.
