This podcast focuses on issues that are top of mind for many people in the cybersecurity industry. We take a deep dive into those topics and address them head-on with a Canadian perspective.
I have always been a huge podcast advocate, and have listened to thousands of hours of many of them. I find that they allow for a deeper dialogue than the regular news media, which is often inflammatory, hyperbolic, and not available to most people to provide their insights.
This is not my first podcast, as I had created the Tech Emergence Podcast to which the link archive is at the bottom of the page for posterity.
Main Discussion topics
AHAGAI—Accelerated Habit Adoption with Generative AI—is my framework for:
- Researching, analyzing, and curating insights from multiple domains.
- Developing sustainable strategies to integrate these insights into daily life.
- Transforming how I approach personal growth in just 30 days.
Main Discussion Topics
- The Role of AI in Cybersecurity: The discussion focuses on the significance of AI in transforming cybersecurity practices, including the development of the OWASP Top 10 for LLMs and the potential challenges and benefits AI brings to the industry.
- The Intersection of AI and Human Behavior: The podcast explores how AI interacts with human behavior, emphasizing the importance of understanding psychology, biases, and human fallibility when developing and deploying AI systems.
- Risks and Opportunities with AI Adoption: The conversation delves into the risks associated with AI, including data privacy concerns, manipulation potential, and the need for responsible AI use. Conversely, it highlights the immense opportunities AI offers in enhancing productivity, creativity, and problem-solving.
- Human-AI Collaboration: A key point is the idea of AI as an assistant that can augment human capabilities rather than replace them. The discussion covers how AI can be integrated into workflows to improve outcomes without losing the human element.
- Ethical Considerations in AI Development: Ethical issues in AI, including the dangers of anthropomorphism and the need for transparent, accountable AI systems, are thoroughly discussed

Operational technology, or OT, share a lot of the same components as IT, but must be approached in a very different manner. On episode 08, I will be talking with Andrew Ginter, VP of industrial security at Waterfall Security Solutions. We will be talking about the evolution of OT since 9/11. The similarities and differences to IT. The challenges and methods of improving critical infrastructure security with frameworks like cyber-informed engineering, and consequence-oriented cyber-informed engineering.
